The Law Offices of David D. Fischer, APC, is a criminal defense law firm serving Sacramento, Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, Yolo, Solano and surrounding counties.

"My name is David Fischer, and I represent clients charged with crimes in both state and federal court.  My office handles complex fraud cases, large-scale drug distribution cases in both state and federal court, serious 'strike' offenses in state court, DUI, theft, embezzlement, domestic violence, and many other misdemeanor and felony offenses.  While the majority of cases resolve without the need for having a jury trial, I have tried over 30 cases to verdict.

My goal is to achieve the best result for my clients.  I begin with a comprehensive client interview, and then conduct a thorough investigation to determine the legal issues in the case.  In some cases, that thorough investigation may convince the prosecution that there is a weakness in their case warranting a dismissal.  In other cases, search and seizure motions could result in the case being dismissed.  Often the defense work is in obtaining helpful information about the client to help negotiate an acceptable resolution.  But, sometimes the only way to resolve a case is by having a jury trial.  Regardless of the situation, my office is fully equipped to handle misdemeanor and felony cases in both state and federal court."

Mr. Fischer received his Juris Doctor Degree from McGeorge School of Law in December 2002.  After graduation, he worked for two years at the Sacramento Public Defender's Office.  In 2005, Mr. Fischer opened his own practice and has handled a variety of cases during his career. His office is prepared to handle your criminal case at the trial level in both state and federal court.
